Privacy Policy

This policy explains what AeroVision collects, why, and how we protect it. AeroVision provides aircraft management, flight training, rental, and pilot-services software for AeroVision LEX, Flight Path Academy, and AeroVision Pro (together, “we” or “AeroVision”).

Information we collect

• Account & contact details — name, email, phone, and mailing address.
• Aviation records— bookings, flight logs (Total/Flight, times), currency, and pilot documents you upload (e.g. medical, certificate, renter’s insurance).
• Billing — invoices, payments, and statements. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Usage & security— sign-in activity and, for sensitive records (payroll, another person’s statement, year-end summaries), an access log of who viewed them.

We do not collect or store Social Security Numbers, EINs, or tax-form images. Those identity numbers are gathered by your accountant directly via Form W-9 / W-4 and are never kept in this application.

How we use it

To run your account and bookings, log and bill flights, schedule aircraft and instructors, keep aviation records and currency, send account and operational notifications, and meet legal, safety, and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

How we protect it

Access is restricted by role and company, enforced at the database level. We require strong passwords with leaked-password protection, offer two-factor authentication, and protect sign-in with bot detection. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and access to sensitive records is logged.

Service providers

We share data only with the vendors that run the service: Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Cloudflare (bot protection), and Stripe (card payments). Each processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Retention

We keep records for as long as your account is active and as needed for accounting, tax, and legal requirements, then remove or archive them. Notifications, access logs, and generated documents are pruned on a rolling schedule.

Your choices

You can view and update your profile and documents in the app and manage notification preferences. To request a copy or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the details below; some records must be retained where law requires.
